Speculation surrounding a possible divorce for actor Dalljiet Kaur has surfaced following the removal of pictures with her second husband Nikhil Patel from her Instagram account. Notably, she has also omitted her husband's surname from her Instagram bio, fueling online reports about the couple's separation. The Qayamat Ki Raat actress tied the knot with Nikhil who is a businessman based in Kenya, and the Television star too relocated to the country with her son Jaydon last year.
In response to divorce rumours, her team recently issued a statement clarifying that the actress returned to India due to a medical emergency within her family. The spokesperson refrained from commenting on the couple's relationship but urged everyone to respect the privacy of Dalljiet's son Jaydon. Dalljiet's spokesperson issued a statement clarifying, "I hereby state that Dalljiet and Jaydon (her son) are in India currently for Dalljiet’s dad's surgery followed by her Maa's surgery as well, which required them to be beside him." Up to now, neither Dalljiet nor Nikhil has officially confirmed any details about their relationship status.
In recent updates, the TV star's husband took to his Instagram stories to share glimpses of his intense workout sessions. The fitness enthusiast dedicated 45 minutes to pilates, completing 171 reps per body part, focusing on chest, shoulders, and triceps. Additionally, he engaged in a rigorous 50-minute run, followed by a 5-minute Stairmaster session and concluded with 5 minutes in the steam room.
According to a source close to the actress, their marriage was initially stable, but issues surfaced between the couple. They soon realized their incompatibility and the situation worsened over the last two months. The source even mentioned that if problems persist, separation might become the only viable option.
On a personal note, Dalljiet was previously married to Shalin Bhanot and separated after she accused him of domestic violence. They share a son, Jaydon. On the other hand, Nikhil is a father of two daughters, 13-year-old Aariyana and eight-year-old Aanika, who met at a friend’s party in Dubai and decided to get married.
